Jointly Build an International Modern Agricultural Promotion Base

        On November 22, leaders and experts of He Ping Campus Jilin University, Jilin Province Nong’an County, and University of ball screw Illinois at Urbana-Champaign entered into an agreement in Nong’an County, on strengthening of modern agricultural scientific research, promotion of modern hydraulic valve agricultural scientific and technological innovative technology, and joint building of Jilin Nong’an International Modern Agricultural Promotion Base.

        This tripartite cooperation is another specific project that universities in China and the US, via utilizing the fertile soil and good production conditions in Nong'an, promote the capacity to increase production of 10 billion jins of commodity grains and ensure food security. Judging from the development prospect, the completion of the international modern agricultural promotion base will, via the promotion and application of new-type planting model, new varieties, and new technologies, improve the grain yield per mu in the demonstration area by 20% to 50%. It is a new model for the development of modern agricultural cooperation and the promotion of international modern agricultural scientific and technological innovative technology.
