Carrying more than 1,370 passengers from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and other countries and regions, the Volendam cruise ship of Holland America Cruise Line (HAL), called at Xiamen Port at about 7am on Tuesday.
Built in 1999,Fill Valve the largest ship in Holland America's fleet features a classic design with high-tech developments. It offers a more passive ambiance that accentuates comfort, service and consistency.
The Volendam is 237.9 meters long and 32 meters wide, with a total tonnage of more than 60,000 tons.
This is the fourth time that the cruise ship has visited Xiamen since 2002, when it made successive three visits to Xiamen that year.
After staying in Xiamen for 10 hours, thbe Volendam left for Shanghai at about 17:00 pm as seen on tv.
In recent years, an increasing number of international cruise ships have made their visits to Xiamen. This year, Europa, the Legend of the Seas, Silver Whisper, Seabourn Spirit and some other cruise ships called at Xiamen Port.
