This device takes signals transmitted by digital TV and with the help of Wi-Fi resends it to mobile phones. The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is the first place to exhibit these prototypes devices. Customers in Baltimore, Washington DC will be the first to enjoy free TV on their cell phones.

The importance of this test is related to the financial costs of broadcasting TV on cell phones. Tests will have to reveal a chip of greater performance and to resolve issues regarding costs. This new wave wants to present itself as free for the customers. The consequence expected is a growing interest in cell phone TV. The clients controls the offers, one can choose whatever suits his/her needs.
