Health Care Ahmedabad, August 17 - The hearing on the bail plea of former Minister of Gujarat, Others Amit Shah in 2005 organized Sohrabuddin Holiday Supplies shooting today was postponed to August 30.
Shah, a former minister of state for home, was arrested July 25. Introduced on bail shortly after being sent behind bars for a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court.
The hearing was scheduled for Aug. 11 before, but was postponed until Tuesday because his lawyer Ram Jethmalani could not come to court.
The hearing was postponed on Tuesday due to the application by the brother of Sohrabuddin, Rubabuddin Sheikh, who urged the court to give him a hearing before considering the application for bail Shah.
The hearing on the application of Rubabuddin would be on 27 August.
Meanwhile, in line with the decision of the Apex court, the CBI has sought documents related to the 2006 shooting Tulsi Prajapati Gujarat Police, who was investigating the case. Prajapati was a key witness in the murder Sohrabuddin.
The CBI is expected to soon test some of the main accused in the Prajapati encounter to discover the missing links in Sohrabuddin killing two suspected cases are intrinsically linked.
